Fatehpur: a woman and her grandson was killed when the room ‘Kutcha’ they collapsed due to heavy rains in the police station Khaga Kotwali district in Fatehpur District, police said on Friday.
The incident occurred in Abdullah Nagar Sithiani Village on Thursday night.
Chandrakali, 55, and his five-year-old grandfather asked buried in their debris, Sho of Kohaga Kotwali Santosh Kumar Sharma said.
Both of them died before they could be taken to the hospital, he said.
APOORVA DUBEY District Judge and other senior officials reached the place on Friday and convinced all possible assistance to the families of the victims.
The body has been sent for Post Mortem, Sharma said.
