Women, 55, held to poison the husband

Mumbai: A 55-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly poisoning her husband by serving her food anchored insecticide for marital disputes, police said on Thursday.
According to a police officer, the woman, a resident of Dharavi, allegedly mixed the toxic liquid used to kill cockroaches in her husband’s food (65), who survived after she was hospitalized.
The couple was locked in a long marriage dispute and was often debated on domestic problems, which had caused their separation, he said.
The victim, a taxi driver, moved away from his wife for the past few years, the official said.
Among them, he was in prison in several cases and left prison last month.
Initially, he lived with his relatives in Zion before returning home, the official said.
Recently, they have a heated argument at lunch to sell their homes where the victim began to feel anxious and at that time the woman told him that he had mixed the murder of the murder of the roaches in his food, he said.
The man was taken to the hospital by people in his area, the official said.
Based on complaints, the police arrested the woman and ordered it under the Indian Criminal Code (IPC) part 328 (causing injuries in a poison), he added.
