Kalyan: A 70-year-old woman robbed of valuables worth almost Rs 3 lakh at her house by unknown robbers in Ulhasnagar.
Robbers tied the woman’s mouth, and then forcibly robbed 70 grams of gold ornaments.
The incident took place on Tuesday night when Kavita Tejwani was alone in her flat located on the third floor of the Sai Darshan building near the RKT College in Ulhasnagar.
At the time of the incident, the sons of victims who worked at the company were on their work, police said.
The complainant who filed FIR on Wednesday stated that at 8:30 a.m.
he was alone at home when a robber aged between 20 and 25 forcibly entered his house and threatened to kill him, binding his mouth all ornaments.
The defendant also forcibly grabbed his golden earrings because he suffered a wound in his ear.
After the incident, acting on the complaint of the Kavita police has registered a case of robbery against unknown people.
