Ghaziabad: A woman from Vaishali accused her that she was raped by her son’s cricket coach at his home in Indirapuram.
In his complaint to the police, the woman said around 16:30 on Tuesday, he went to submit his son’s document to the man at his home.
“He offered me a cold drink mixed with sedatives.
I fell unconscious immediately after drinking it,” he accused, adding that he was taken to a room and was raped.
When he realized, his clothes were stained, the woman claims.
The man allegedly told him that he had to stay overnight because his health was “not OK”.
The woman said she called her husband after that, leaving a flat and took the elevator to go down.
He sat for a few minutes near the tower guard until his husband arrived.
As soon as he arrived, he told him what had happened and they approached the police station.
Sanjay Pandey, Sho, Police Station Indirapuram, said based on the complaint of the woman, a FIR has been registered with men under the IPC 376 section (rape), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and 328 (causing toxic wounds etc.
with the intention to commit violations) , “We sent a police team to his house but was locked and the police could not find it.
The neighbor told the police that he had not returned for the past two days,” Pandey said, adding that the woman’s statement was not recorded.
