New Delhi: The woman’s body was found in the Chhatarpur area in South Delhi on Wednesday.
The police have registered a murder case in this matter.
According to the police, on Wednesday, around 2.45 in the morning, they received a PCR call about the incident.
Callers, residents of Chattarpur Pahadi, told them that his wife was brutally beaten by someone and he lay unconscious and blood flowed from his head.
When the police reached the place, they found that injured women had been taken to the hospital.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Benita Mary Jaiker said PCR Caller was identified as the late husband Avdesh Kumar.
He told them that he was with his wife in rented accommodation in the area of ​​Chattarpur Pahadi.
“Kumar told the police that on Wednesday, around 2.10 in the morning, when he returned from his work, he found that his wife lay fainted and blood flowed from his head,” DCP said.
The woman was declared dead by a doctor.
Speaking to Toi, Amit, who claimed to be the deceased brother, said that around 2:45 a.m., he got a call from his brother about the incident.
“He told me that someone had stabbed your sister and he might die.
I rushed to the hospital,” he said.
According to Amit, when he was on his way to the hospital, he received another call from Kumar who told him that his sister died.
“I arrived at the hospital and found his body.
The doctor told me that he received a head injury,” he said.
Speaking of the family of the deceased, he said that four years ago, his sister married Kumar.
They have two children.
“At the time of the incident, the two children slept, Kumar told me.
He found my sister outside the house.
They recently shifted to new accommodations,” he added.
Kumar did some small work.
“Kumar has been questioned with respect to his wife’s death.
All corners are being investigated,” said an officer.
