Women are held for trying to kill a husband

Rajkot: A 52-year-old woman from the city of Keshod District Junagadh was arrested on Monday by the police for trying to kill her husband a few days ago.
According to the Keshod police, they arrested Pooja aka Swati Pandya, a resident of Sardar Nagar Society in Keshod, for trying to kill her husband Bipin Pandya (58), a retired school teacher.
“On October 9, Pooja told us that two unknown people had entered their residence and tried to kill her bipin husband.
After diverting a seriously injured husband to the hospital, we launched the probe,” said a police officer.
The police examined CCTV footage from cameras installed in the area and also tried to gather information about two attackers who had entered the residence of the panda.
“The suspects were not caught on the camera also did not see them.
That’s when we suspect that Pooja might cook a story.
After being baked, he spilled beans,” the police said.
