Thane: The police have arrested a 31-year-old woman for allegedly running the meat trade racket and saved three girls here at Bhayander.
Acting on the tip-off, the police stormed a building in Bandarwadi near the Bhayander train station on Saturday and saved three victims, official releases released on Monday.
The police also sent bait customers and arrested women suspected of running prostitution racquets.
Cases are listed under the Indian Criminal Code Section 370 (Trade) and the provisions of traffic actions are not hostility (prevention), police said.
