Ajmer: Civil Line Police on Tuesday arrested a woman and arrested 95 grams of Mephedrone medicine from ownership.
The woman brought medicine from Mumbai to sell it in ajmer.
The market costs of the drug confiscated are around RS 3 Lakh.
The husband and sister-in-law who was accused of being in prison in Indore because of trading drugs.
The police are now trying to uncover drug trafficking networks in the workplace in the city.
According to the police, they got a tip-off that a woman tried to sell drugs in the civil line area.
The police reached the place and arrested the woman and seized medicine from ownership.
The woman was identified as Farzana (39), a resident of Lohakhan.
The police claimed that during interrogation, the defendant accepted that he brought a drug from Mumbai to then sell it in Ajmer.
He needed money because his husband Razaak had been declared a history of Sheeter and was arrested last year with his brother Khurshid.
They came out with a guarantee and then started the drug trafficking again.
Then this year in January, they were arrested by Madhya Pradesh police with drugs and now, both of them are in the indore handle.
There are 22 drug trafficking cases registered against Razaak and Khurshid in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and also in Rajasthan.
The police said that the defendant accepted him after his husband and his brother were caught, he took allegations of drug trafficking and brought Mephedrone from Mumbai in supplies and sold it in a small package, mostly for young people.
The police are now working with their colleagues at Mumbai police to share information received from the defendant during interrogation and investigate a larger network in Ajmer.
