Women are still lagging behind in covid vaccination in Lucknow

Lucknow: High-level Covid-19 vaccination continues in the city on Tuesday with 42,578 people switching in various centers for the first or second shot of two dosage courses.
However, at the same time, women are still behind men in getting vaccinations because their part on Tuesday is 39%.
Overall, 28,691 (67%) of the beneficiaries took the first dose while 13,887 was vaccinated after taking the second dose.
The beneficiaries in the age group 18-44 were the highest, followed by 7,960 people in the age group 45-59 and 3,329 elderly residents.
Health workers said that special awareness campaign was being carried out to educate and motivate women to be vaccinated.
Meanwhile, two more people tested Covid-19 positive on Tuesday, while four patients recovered.
The number of active cases has dropped to 14.
