Women buy jewelry with rent, pairs kill him

Bengaluru: A 40-year-old Autorickshaw driver was arrested by Police Siddapura about the allegations of killing his 35-year-old wife on Tuesday during their rental quarrel.
Shaik Farooq, a resident of Dayanandanagar in Jayanagar Block 1, allegedly killed his wife, Naziya, because he had used the money it means rent to buy imitation jewelry he wanted to sell during Diwali.
The preliminary probe has revealed that Farooq has provided Rs 6,500 to Naziya on Monday morning and asked him to pay home rent.
But Naziya thought she could get a profit if she bought an artificial jewelry or imitation in large quantities and sold it during Diwali.
He spent Rs 6,500 on jewelry.
Farooq returned home at 8pm and asked Naziya about renting rent.
“Naziya told Farooq that he had bought imitation jewelry and would pay rent in two days.
Farooq was angry and this caused a clash between the couple.
Farooq punched his face and banged his head against the wall angrily.
He fainted on the floor and their daughter told Ms.
Naziya .
They rushed Naziiya to the nearest hospital, where he exhaled his last breath on Tuesday, “said a police officer.
Police Siddapura registered a murder case based on complaints submitted by Ms.
Naziya Imtiyaz BI.
Farooq and produced in front of the court, which returns it in court custody.
