Hyderabad: A woman donated a portion of her husband to save her life in a hospital in Hyderabad.
Venkata Subba Reddy suffered a serious heart-related illness when his wife Mumtaz decided to help him.
Venkata conditions progressively deteriorate and cause life-threatening complications.
“His rights are badly damaged and he requires immediate transplants.
His wife’s family members are advancing to donate their hearts.
However, only Mumtaz’s heart is compatible with Subba Reddy despite his sleek appearance,” said Dr.
Raghavendra Babu, a Senior Transplant Surgeon consultant, Gleneagles Global Hospitals.
According to hospital authorities, patients have now recovered and lived a normal life.
Inter-religious couples have sons and two daughters, and are based in the city of Proddatur in Kadapa Regency.
