Coimbatore: Rural police on Thursday arrest a woman based in tulur and three rental thugs because they tried to kill her husband two weeks ago.
The people arrested were identified as Thinagavathi, 48, wife of C Subramamaniam from Moolai Veetu Thottam in East Arasur in Sulur, R Velayutha Moory, 28, from Avaniyapuram in Madurai, G Kamalkumar, 21 and V Prabhakaran, 19, from Thiruppuvanam Taluk on Sivaganga area.
According to the police, subramaniam was 52 years old, a monegara, was in an intimate relationship with a woman in Virudhunagar Regency, a lot for Chagrin Thinagavathi.
“He used to give the female money, but ignored Thinagavathi.
Even though he begged him to end the infidelity, he refused.
So, Thinagavathi decided to kill him,” said a police officer.
Thinagavathi asked Moorhy’s help, construction workers who were ordinary clients from Subramaniam.
“Moory agreed to kill loanment for Rs 50,000.
After Thinagavathi gave him the money, Moory brought the relative Prabhakan, a student, to collect murder.
He also sought the assistance of his colleague Kamalkumar.
On September 3, the gang of three members attacked Subramaniand with a hotel.

When Subramaniam collapsed in a pool of blood, the three escaped from the place, “the officer added.
Subramous’s tendur police rushed to Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital (CMCH), where he recovered from injury.
Police initially suspected that the murder efforts were the impact of business hostilities.
But when Thinagavathi gave a contradictory statement, they grilled him and he claimed to be the crime.
