Women end their lives on suspicion of delays in receiving the number of RD

Nagpur: Depressed for the alleged delay in receiving the number of repetitive deposits (RD) maturing, a 36-year-old daily wage woman died of suicide by consuming poisons on October 12.
The woman who has died has been identified as Asha Kavdati, a resident of Ramna Locality in Narched City.
Police said Asha has opened a RD account at the limited Credit Cooperative Society account through the agent of Dhananjay Madankar, a Narched resident.
Asha’s RD account was due in 2020 years ago, said Constable Manoj Gadve from the Narched police station.
Gadve said that the deceased was very disappointed with the alleged delay in getting an RD number because she was ridicated because her daughter’s wedding a few months ago.
Asha also visited the Cooperative Bank Branch Office in Kota Katol to find out the status of receiving the investment amount.
But in vain.
On October 12, he returned to visit the House of the Agent – Madankar, who also failed to give a satisfying reply.
After returning from Madankar’s house, Asha who was sadly thought to consume poison and fell unconscious.
Immediately his younger son, Ajay rushed to a government hospital in Narchhed from where he was referred to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital.
However, he died on October 13, police said.
Narched police have registered cases of unintentional deaths and further investigators.
