Chandrapur: A woman died of suicide along with her two children in Maldongri Village, Bramhapuri Tehsil.
The incident was revealed on Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Deepa Pardhi (33) and his son Ayush (6) and Piyush (3).
Deepa lives with her husband Ravindra Pardhi (44) and two of her sons in the village.
Duo husband and wife quarreled on Saturday night.
Deepa who was angry left the house with two children.
Ravindra and her friends looked around, but failed to find it.
Residents found Deepa’s body and her children floated on Jalan Maldongri-Bramhapuri on Sunday morning.
The villagers told Bramhapuri police, who visited the place and moved the body.
The police suspected Deepa upset for repeated quarrels with her husband.
Cases of accidental death have been registered and further investigations are ongoing.
While the police fished out of the body of the mother and children, they found the carcass of the leopard.
The police have told the forestry department about the carcass.
