Women face acid attacks in nobs; wounded

Jalaun: A 25-year-old woman suffered severe burns on Tuesday after two young men borne by bicycles threw acid when she sat in a toy workshop in the Lajpat Nagar here, police said.
The youth fled after throwing acids at the Preacher, said the police, adding the victim first rushed to the primary health care center that referred him to College Medical Orai.
His condition in the hospital was stabilized, the jalaun supervisor of Police Ravi Kumar said, adding attackers to cover their faces with masks.
He said the incident was recorded by CCTV cameras and the police investigated this problem.
Family members of the victim have not provided complaints in this relationship, SP said.
