Kanpur: Panic Wins After a 30-year-old woman who is unknown to be found in the fields in Barkhera Chakrod in the Kalpi Kotwali police station area in the Jalaun District on Sunday.
The victim’s face was very destroyed with stones to hide his identity.
The police have begun to examine the details of the missing people from the surrounding police station.
People in the nearest villages also cannot identify the woman.
It is believed that the woman was killed elsewhere and then her body was thrown here.
According to the police, the incident was revealed on Sunday morning when several locals found the body of a woman lying in the village in Barkhera under the limit of the Kalpi Kilpi police station and told the police.
The police said that there was a preliminary findings, apparently the attackers had destroyed his face with stones to hide his identity.
“Because there were no signs of protests seen in that place, it seemed that the woman was killed elsewhere and then her body was thrown into the fields,” said further investigators.
Senior police officials rushed to a place along with the forensic team and gathered evidence and oversaw investigations.
The researchers said they also questioned the villagers nearby to ensure their identity but in vain.
Jalaun police supervisor Ravi Kumar said, “We are investigating the incident from all possible angles.
First of all, efforts are made to identify bodies so that the investigation can take direction,” SP said further.
The villagers also expressed fears of rape but the police said they were waiting for the autopsy report of the woman.
