Kalaburagi: Kalaburagi court on Thursday sent a 40-year-old woman to five years in prison and slapped a penalty of Rs 2 lakh to her for pouring hot oil on two young girls over a trivial dispute with a neighbor over two years ago.
First Additional District Sessions Court said that a woman convicted will spend a year in jail if he fails to pay the penalty.
From a good amount, Rs 1.5 lakh will be deposited in a bank until the victim was 18 years old.
