Women, girlfriends get life for husband’s murder

Mangaluru: District and the third additional session was sentenced to a woman and her boyfriend to serve a prison sentence, because she killed her husband in 2016, on Tuesday.
Judge Basappa Balappa Jakati held Ashwini and his girlfriend Ananda Mera guilty of the crime, and gave a punishment.
The incident took place on September 13, 2016.
In 2014, Ashwini married Jayaraj and they lived in a rented house in Moodabidri.
In 2016, Ashwin delivered a baby girl.
Meanwhile, Jayaraj learned about Ashwini’s affair with Ananda, and there was a fight between them.
On September 13, when Ashwini was at the mother’s house in Moodukonaje in Moodbidri, she called her husband Jayaraj to his house with the pretext of giving money.
He has hatched a plan to kill Jayaraj with the help of Ananda.
When Jayaraj entered the house, Ananda hit him with an iron stick and killed him.
They then threw away the body well and sprayed empty chemicals.
After three days, Ashwini to mislead the police, filed a complaint lost at the Moodabidri police station.
Ananda tried to mislead the police and claimed that she had kidnapped Jayaraj.
Using the Jayaraj telephone number, he called Ms.
Jayaraj and told him that Jayaraj owed Rs 62,000 to the kidnapper.
On September 22, Jayaraj’s men, Girish put forward kidnapping, and the next investigation revealed that it was a murder.
Police Inspector Moodabidri Ramachandra nayak filed a chargesheet.
A total of 36 witnesses were examined.
Prosecutor Narayana Sherigar represents the victim.
Ashwini and Ananda each has been fined Rs 5,000.
Apart from this, the term two years in prison for the destruction of evidence and RS 2,000 fine also enforced.
As many as 10,000 Rs will be given to Mrs.
Jayaraj, and his daughter will also receive some money.
