Hyderabad: In a surprising incident, a woman who allegedly hung her daughter to death before killing her in the Yadadri Bhongir Telangana district, police said on Thursday.
Turunuri Umanjani (32) hung all three of his daughters – Harshini (13), Lucky (11) and Shaky (8) at his residence in Ramnagar before killing himself by hanging.
However, his youngest daughter escaped death.
Umarani Venkatesh’s husband, who was sleeping outside the house, woke up Thursday morning to the cry of their youngest daughter.
When the door was locked from inside, he broke it to find his wife and two daughters hanging from the iron beam.
Shainy escaped from death as a cloth that with Umorei hung her to the beam was apparently cheated.
The police suspected that the woman killed her daughter and her since Thursday morning.

Narayana Reddy said there were no suicide records.
He is believed to have taken extreme steps because of financial problems.
However, police officers said they were investigating if there was a problem between the partner.
The couple married for 14 years.
Venkatesh is said to be a habit drinker.
