Lucknow: A suicide reduction case was registered against a man after his wife ended his life in their home in Narhi.
The police also named the in-laws of the woman who had died as accused of in this case.
The woman’s parents, identified as Shweta (30), captured Foulplay and alleged that her in-laws killed her.
They also play suicide records.
ACP, Hazratgaj, Raghvendra Mishra said Shweta from Gorakhpur married Vivek Chauhan from Ram Krishna Lane in Locality Narhi in 2020.
His father Sitaram said that Vivek told him around 3.30 in August 16th that Shweta had hung himself.
“He told me that he took Shweta to a civil hospital.
Fifteen minutes later, he told me that the doctor had said it to death,” Sitaram said.
“My wife Asha told me that Vivek had an extra marriage affair and Shweta upset about this.
He told me that Shweta was tortured for opposing her husband’s affair,” he added.
“The suicide note has not been written by Shweta.
It was not in his handwriting.
He is a brave girl,” he said.
ACP said about Sitaram complaints, the case of suicide reduction was registered.
