Nagpur: Thagiyabai Verma (45) and relative Meera (32) handed over their valuables worth RS29,000 to three fraudsters near the Annabhau Taman instruction.
Last year, three women were robbed in the same way in the city in a 24-hour range.
Verma and Meera returned to their homes in Banwandewadi when they were approached by couples and teenagers.
The teenager approached Verma and Meera, asked them about the ATM outlet around it.
When they denied knowing the ATM outlet nearby, the couple and teenager circled them once, followed where the victims began to follow them.
The trio stops after reaching a remote place and asks women to rest, also offer water.
The women were then asked to hand over their jewelry, which they thought did without refusing.
Fraudsters immediately left the place.
After getting their bearings, the women came home and then approached the Pardi police station, where a violation was registered with three unknown cheats.
