Gurgaon: A 25-year-old woman allegedly raped by her neighbor in Patudi.
The crime took place at 2.
Police August said the defendant was identified as a sajid, has threatened to kill the survivors if he revealed the incident to his family.
After a few days, on August 10, when Sajid tried to rape him again, the woman shouted to help follow her arrested and her family was told about the incident.
“To escape from the situation, Sajid promised to marry the victims,” said a police officer.
On August 11, the victims were trying to commit suicide by drinking poison when no news came from the defendant’s family about marriage.
A case was registered under the section of 25 ACT Arms (forbidden weapons ownership) and the relevant parts of the IPC at the Pataudi police station.
