Coimbatore: The 23-year-old grocery store owner loses the five-sovereign gold chain to Snatchers on Monday NS.
“Pillion Rider approached him with the pretext of buying snacks and soft drinks.
When he tried to take a snack wrap, the man grabbed his six-sovereign gold chain from his neck and drove away,” said a police officer.
Kavitha lifted alarms and shop owners in the area hurried.
They told the Saravanampatti police.
A police team reached the place and police also conducted vehicle checks throughout the city.
