Women set themselves, two daughters burned

Rajkot: A 40-year-old woman from Chalala in Amreli District allegedly made her and her two daughters burned on Sundays to commit suicide.
The police said the main reason for extreme steps was to disrupt domestic disputes.
Around 12 o’clock in the afternoon, Sonal Devmurari (40), a resident of Hardyham Society in the city of Chalala, sprinkled kerosene on himself and his two daughters Hitali (14) and Kushi (3) and then turned on the fire.
Within minutes, smoke began to blow out of the house and they began to shout.
The neighbors rushed to help think that the fire had broken and they told the fire brigade and husband of Sonal, Bharat, who runs the flour mill.
They watered the fire using water and entered the house and they found three of them which scorched dead.
The police said all bodies were 80% scorched.
KJ Chaudhri, police deputy supervisor, Savarkabla said, “In accordance with the main investigation, there are family disputes and marital problems between husband and wife.
This brings him to take this extreme step.” The police called a female family member and after recording his husband’s statement and his family members were a violation will be registered with her husband.
The police are currently submitting a report on unintentional deaths with the Chalala police station.
The body has been sent for post mortem.
