Gurgaon: A 27-year-old woman was found dead in her house rented in the area of Bangali Bazaar in the Southern City-1 on Friday.
According to the police, her husband was the main suspect in this case when he escaped.
The woman, who was identified as Rezia Biwi (27), was used to work as a housemaid.
He married Hansa Muj, a Mason, a year ago and lived in the Ghata area and has shifted to South City-1 a month ago.
The neighbors were the first to pay attention to Rezia’s lifeless body on Friday afternoon.
Because they haven’t seen it from morning, some of them peered into the house from the window and seeing the woman lying on the ground.
They told the police and the team from the sector 40 of the police station reached the house.
“Usually people wake up early and because we have the same toilet, so it’s not unusual to not see anything out of the house.
Because Rezia was not noticed by anyone until late afternoon, several locals reached her home to ask.
That’s when they saw it at Floors, “said a neighbor, adding that they did not witness a dispute between the couple.
Station House Officer (SHO) from the Sector 40 Police Station, Inspector Surender Phogat, said the postmortem report confirmed the murder.
The woman was strangled.
The body has been handed over to the family and fir it has been registered under the part of the IPC 302 (murder).
“He was strangled to death and her husband was the main suspect.
But the reason for the murder is still unclear,” Sho added that the Prima Facie seemed to be the defendant strangling his wife after a fight in the middle of the night and escaped from home.
No one witnessed him to leave the colony.
“We scan CCTV recording to know when he leaves the area,” Sho Phogat said.
