Noida: A 30-year-old woman, suspected of fighting with her husband the night before, was found dead at her house in the Surajpur area on Monday morning.
The woman, identified as Meena, allegedly consumed several Sulfa tablets, Fumigan Agriculture.
The package with only one tablet in it was found near the body, police said.
Her husband, Bunty, plumber, has been arrested after complaints by the woman’s family of the couple, who married for the past five years, a four-year-old son.
They live on the ground floor of a building in Surajpur.
Bunty has three more brothers, two of them live in the same house but on a separate floor.
The couple’s son told the police that Bunty and Meena had a fight before going to bed before.
The police said they received information about alleged suicide around 8am on Monday.
“Neighbors told the family members too.
A police team arrived and sent the body to autopsy,” said a police officer.

They have told the police that their daughter will remain upset because of repeated harassment over Mahar.
