Vadodara: A 21-year-old woman allegedly raped and stabbed repeatedly late on Tuesday night in Singedi Village in Devgadh Baria Taluka in Dahod District.
He had been hospitalized in the city of Dahod, police said.
The incident occurred around 10pm when the woman allegedly went to an open room near her residence to relieve her.
A man who was identified as Patel approached him and threatened him.
Patel allegedly took out a knife and told the woman to accompany her to a nearby farm.
The woman was allegedly raped by Patel and was misused.
Patel was angry because the woman stopped talking to her.
Patel also allegedly stabbed the woman repeatedly in her throat and escaped from the place.
The woman rushed to the hospital in Dahod for care.
The police have registered a violation and looked for Patel.
