Jaipur: A 35-year-old woman was shot dead by her neighbor in the area of Hasanpura on Sunday night.
Manju Singh was taken to the SMS hospital with a gunshot wound on his head and gave up on an injury.
The defendant was identified as Deepu, who worked as a painter and lived opposite the victim’s house.
The motive behind murder cannot be determined immediately.
Some police teams have fanned in different directions to find the defendant.
According to additional DCP (West), Singh, the incident occurred as follows.
Deepu enters the woman’s house around 10:00.
He asked for water before he pulled out a firearm and opened fire on the woman’s head, on his ear.
He lay down did not move in a pool of blood when the neighbors rushed after hearing a shot.
Her husband also arrived at the place and took her to the hospital with the help of a neighbor.
“The motive behind the crime is still unclear.
We hope to arrest the defendant immediately because he has been identified,” Singh told Toi.
At 11pm, many senior police officials had reached a crime point.
The FSL teams gathered around the floor where the woman was shot.
Housing locality, known as ‘Yadavo Ka Mohalla’, was corrected by the conscious police to protect the crime scene.
The police did not determine whether the firearms were illegal weapons.
The source said the victim’s husband worked as a driver and was destroyed after the incident.
Manju’s body shifted to the morgue after the doctor said he was taken dead.
“Post-Mortem will be done on Monday.
We don’t want to file too many questions to the family because they are still surprised and sad,” said an official.
