Women’s sanitation workers take part in a sports meeting

Noida: A sports meeting was held at the Noida Stadium on Wednesday morning.
However, it is different from the usual sports competition held.
For the first time noida authority employee employees took part in various events.
Some female workers who participated in the event worked in the closest sectors 21, 22 and 25 for the cleanliness and work of sanitation but never stepped into an integrated sports complex.
“It was for the first time a sports meeting was held for our female workers.
The idea is to celebrate Amrit Mahotsav and motivate our female staff members,” said a senior project engineer from the Ministry of Public Health, SC Mishra.
Meena and Annu were declared a winner at a short event and 400 meters sprint.
While Meena managed to masculate a distance of 6.45 meters, Annu was able to complete the lap in 1 minute and 39 seconds.
Winners and runners up are given cash prizes regardless of the certificate.
