LONDON: Mark Wood has been ruled out from the third test of the week with India to deal with the hopes of the host to flatten the five-match series that lead tourists 1-0.

“Mark Wood has been ruled out from the third test against India with the right shoulder-jred,” read the statement of the British cricket board and Wales on Monday.
“Wood is injured on the fourth day of the second test in God and will not be suitable to play in Headingley starting on Wednesday.” He will remain with a squad at Leeds and will continue rehabilitation with the British medical team.

Many feel wood should have greater care in the field.
