New Delhi: While Ensuring India that Qatar worked towards the process of inclusive peace in Afghanistan, Qatare-terrorism who visited and the special envoy of conflict resolution, Mutlaq bin Majed Al-Qahtani also expressed concern about “external players,” as much as being based in Afghanistan, which could blocking that goal.
The two-day visit by Al-Qahtani was important because it came, because the official source said, amid a great effort to secure the temporary arrangement in Kabul which was fun for all stakeholders.
Al-Qahtani supports India’s position that the inclusive process, ensures protection for women, children and minorities is important for lasting political settlement in Afghanistan.
However, while peace talks between the Afghan government and the Taliban continued in Doha, the prospect for negotiated sharing-sharing agreements looked more gloomy.
Taliban rebels continued to pamper themselves in violence in Wanton even though they claimed that they were ‘hard’ supporting political settlement.
Doha will this week also host the Russian extended Troika in Afghanistan involving us, China and Pakistan.
While Al-Qahtani is unclear, or directly, mention Pakistan in interaction with Indian authorities, it carries regional and global conflicts with the potential to influence the situation in Afghanistan.
This includes the relationship between As-Iran and Indian relations with Pakistan.
While maintaining that it would not recognize any group that brought Afghanistan by force, Qatar continued to facilitate peace talks because of seeing the Taliban, as quoted by Al-Qahtani itself as recently, the main component of each political solution.
Al-Qahtani has recognized India’s contribution to Afghanistan economically and said India wanted a peaceful and stable Afghanistan.
India has made humanitarian and development assistance worth more than $ 3 billion to Afghanistan.
It has done more than 500 infrastructure and development projects since 2001.
For India, the top priority still provides cessation of all attacks of violence and terrorists.
This includes expanded support to the Taliban by Pakistani-based terror groups.
In his meeting with Qatar officials, as other regional and international partners, the government continued to emphasize the importance of conflict resolution through political dialogue and “respect the interests of all ethnic groups, women and children.” During his visit to India, Al-Qahtani met the Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Secretary of Foreign Affairs Harsh Shringla and Secretary with J P Singh.
