New Delhi: work in nine major non-agricultural sectors from the economy rose 29% to 3.08 crores in the first quarter of 2021-22 compared to the 2.37 Crore reported in the sixth economic census in 2013-14, a quarterly employment survey (QES) .

Nine sectors focused on surveys, construction, trade, transportation, education, health, accommodation and restaurants, IT / BPO and financial services.
The IT / BPO sector recorded 152% growth, followed by health (77%), financial services (48%), education (39%), manufacturing (22%), transportation (68%) and construction (42%) during this period Compared to the 2013-14 economic census.
Work in two service sectors, trade and accommodation and restaurant segments, each decreased by 25% and 13% each due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, consistent with available evidence so far.
The survey results showed that the total work in the nine sectors chosen, manufacturing contributed 41%, education 22% and 8% health.
Trade and IT / BPO involve 7% of the total estimated number of workers.
According to QEs, the sauce induced by a pandemic in work affects around 27% of the 12,000 companies surveyed.

Speaking to Toi, the main advisor for the Ministry of Manpower and Employment, De PS Negi said, “The total work (between the three-month locking period) dropped from 3,078 crores to 2,848 crores or 24 lakh.

Released by Minister of Work and Employment Union Bhupender Yadav, Qes is the first part of the Labor Survey based on the establishment of the Indian KWArn Service (AIQEE), which assesses companies that employ 10 workers or more in manufacturing, construction, financial services, education, / BPO, trade , transportation, and accommodation and restaurant sector.
The report also said all the percentages of female workers fell from 31% in 2013-14 to 29% in the April-June quarter.
