Work scarcity, three final family lives

Rajkot: In a tragic incident, three women from a family suspected of ending their lives by suicide in Devbhumi Devbhumi District on Monday morning.
The police said that Shahista Sheikh was 18 years old, his mother, Noor Jahan Noor 42-year-old, Mohmmad Sheikh, and Grandma, Jenambanu Khan Khan Patam aged 63 years, consumed toxic substances in the morning.
Police said that the introduction investigation showed that the three of them took extreme steps because they faced a severe financial crisis.
Both Noor Jahan and Jenambanu are widows.
The three are residents of Shankar Tekari in Jamnagar City and live with their relatives in Bhanvad.
They produce livelihoods by working as a housekeeper.
“The incident occurred in the morning in the Gayatrinagar area in the city of Bhanvad.
The three of them live with their relatives in Bhanvad.
They may have consumed toxic substances around 5am on Monday,” Hj Chaudhary, police deputy supervisor, Devbhumi Dwarka, told TII .
“When their relatives learned about the incident, it was too late.
The first relatives called 108 emergency ambulances and then told the police but at that time the three were dead.
Our main probe shows that the three faces the financial crisis,” Chaudhary added.
