Coimbatore: City Corporation is likely to continue the work in placing new drinking water pipes on the country of Bank Negara in a week.
This new pipe is expected to increase the supply of drinking water to the area of Puliakulam and City Hall.
Corporate sources say, “At present, drinking water is supplied to the areas of Puliakulam and City Hall of the Ramakrishnapuram master’s storage reservoir through a 450mm cement pipe in diameter through Nanjappa Road, Avinashi Road, Arts College Road and Trichy Road.

The new pipe will be placed under the 24×7 drinking water supply project.
