Rajkot: Surendranagar District Police arrested three people within hours after the death of a victim of an attack at Ahmedabad Hospital on Sunday.
The victim of Mavji Gangadia (35), a resident of Jinjuda Village in Chotila Taluka from Surendranagar, was in medicine since May 31 following an attack by Dhama Khachar, Ravu Kathi and Lala Kathi for personal hostilities.
After the attack, Mavji, a farm laborer, was taken to the primary health center in Chotila and then referred to the Rajkot Civil Hospital.
But because his condition did not improve, Mavji shifted to the hospital at Ahmedabad where he gave up on an injury.
Police said that Mavji survived his wife and five children including three daughters.
On Sunday, Kin Mavji took his body to the Nani Moldi police station from Ahmedabad and refused to impress him until his three were arrested.
Family members who died alleged that almost a month since Mavji was brutally emerged, but the police had not taken any action against the defendant.
When people from the Mavji community began to gather at the police station, the police took action and arrested three accused and convincing their families would be justice.
After the arrest of the defendant’s trio, Mavji’s body was cremated.
According to the source of the police, Mavji’s brother Ashok Gangadia had committed suicide three months ago.
Then, Mavji learned that his brother had ended his life when his wife had an affair with one of Dhama Khachar accused.
When Dhama knows that Mavji knew about his relationship and his helper attacked him on May 31.
