Noida: Gnida and Noida authorities have taken some civil and electrical work in 20 villages in their area.
This step came after the direction of the state government called on the local authorities to build a “village model” on the urban housing sector.
While Gnida has flooded 21 tenders worth Rs 26.58 Crore for various projects, including road construction, inlet for ponds, wedding space repairs and community centers in more than a dozen villages, noida authorities have identified five villages to install LED lights and signs, Build roads, including sewers and repair community centers.
It has spent Rs 17.47 Crore for various works in these villages.
Some of the villages have been identified in Sadulpur, Dhoom Manikpur, Chipiyana Buzurg and Roza Jalalpur in Greater Noida and Bahlolpur, Shahpur, Govardh-Anpur, Chhaprauli and Parthala Khanjarpur in Noida.
“We have published 21 tenders worth 26.58 crore for various types of works.
The tender process is likely to expire within one month,” said Narendra Bhoooshan, Gnida Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
In Greater Noida, road work will be carried out in Sadulpur and Dhoom Manikpur, the water channel will be repaired at Chipiyana Buzurg and Roza Yakubpur, repairing the center of the barracks at Roza Yakubpur will be built in Jalpura and pool jobs will be carried out in MiK Lachhi, Roza Yakubpur, Roza Jalalpur , Achheja, Chhapraula and Chipiyana Buzurg.
Apart from this, the construction of 18m waterways in Alpha 1, coat the 24m road in Ecotech 1 extension 1 and the boundary wall on Alpha 2 and Delta 3 has also been planned.
In Noida, the sewer and electricity have been planned for Parthala Khanjarpur and village schools will be renovated under the Kayakalp project.
“The work continues to be monitored,” said Ritu Maheshwari, CEO, Noida authority.
