Kolkata: Chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee on Monday said that the center and country worked together to help people from Bengal, who had been trapped in Afghanistan, to go home safely.
However, he did not reveal the right detail about how coordination was maintained.
“We will inform the details when they are provided with the center,” he said.
He also added that the TMC representative would attend the meeting of all parties called Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, on August 26, to discuss the Afghan crisis.
“We will definitely attend the All-Party Meeting Thursday in Afghanistan,” said the ministerial head.
