Wroclaw (Poland): India won a gold medal on a team of compound cadet women’s team in the ongoing World Archery Youth Championship on Saturday at Wroclaw.
India defeated Turkey 228-216 in the final to win a gold medal in the ongoing competition.
The Indian team consists of Parneet Kaur, Priya Gurjar and Ridhi Varshini; And they issued dominant performance to throw opponents of turkeys from their sign.
On August 10, Indian compound archery girls and the mixed team destroyed two world records of Junior (U-18) during the ongoing tournament qualification phase.
Priya Gurjar, who shot 696 for individual poles, Parneet Kaur and Ridhu Senthilkumar combined for 2067/2160 points and destroyed a world record of women’s team with 22 points.
The old record was held by the US at 2045/2160 points.
