Godavari Barat, Andhra Pradesh
Recognized as one of the largest cocoa harvesters in the country, West Godavari Regency in Andhra Pradesh slowly became the center of cocoa growth with more and more farmers who showed interest in growing exotic plants.
A seven hour trip from Hyderabad’s main city, one will not be disappointed after drinking pure cocoa planted here by local farmers.
Tourists can also enjoy local cocoa by visiting cocoa fields in East Godavari villages, Krishna, Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam.
Anamalai, Tamil Nadu
Surrounded by a higher coconut canopy that houses a lower level of cocoa trees, the anamalai farm in Tamil Nadu is known as one of the most beautiful cocoa farms ever seen.
Tourists can have a delicious fresh cocoa directly from the pod that just cracked.
Different taste from Apple to Lychee to Mango and its surroundings, depending on several other factors.
And if your taste is on the way, you can also go to the first Indian chocolate museum located in Ooty.
The museum is run by a local family that aims to create awareness about the benefits of chocolate, their production process and pay tribute for this pleasant sweetness.

Madikeri, Karnataka
Located at an altitude of 950 meters, travelers will find themselves surrounded by cocoa plants in Madikeri Hematathur Village.
Tourists can plan their stay in the Amazing Madikeri Bukit City and then go to the village during the day to taste the fresh cocoa from the tree on the Milkane 20 acre plantation.
This plantation is known as a certified organic farm and also plants coffee, pepper, avocado, and other fruits and spices on a smaller scale.
After enjoying a variety of cocoa flavors, travelers can spend the rest of their time exploring fertile green towns and enjoying majestic views, misty mountains, dense forests, tea, coffee and spice plantations.
