Trichy: At least seven broken heart stores and a man suffered minor injuries in a fire accident in Gandhi Market in Trichy City on Thursday morning.
LPG gas leaks in a tea kiosk are thought to be the cause of fire.
The fire department personnel said the flames in stores bordering the walls of the compound the main entrance of the Gandhi market near the warning of World War reported around 6.40 in the morning.
The fire was first seen in a tea shop quickly spread to seven adjacent stores.
Officials said that five tables were truly broken, two were partly broken.
