New Delhi: Annual wholesale price-based inflation in October was accelerated to a five-month high of 12.54% from 10.66% the previous month, driven by the increase in fuel prices and manufacturing, government data showed on Monday.
The price of fuel and power rose 37.18% in October-to-year compared to 24.81% in September, while the price of products produced rose 12.04% compared to 11.41% in the previous month.
