Mumbai: In the encouragement for Indian digital initiatives, Western Railway on Sunday launched a single-window web page that was upgraded from ‘Mission Mandate’ and the Enhanced E-Meri Web Portal.
Under the mandate initiative mission, the luggage details lost along with the photos posted under the ‘Mission Mandate’ link on the official website of WR which is Wr.IndianRailways.gov.in.
“Now, passengers can check whether their luggage is missing or lost in the premise or train is available in the offices of the property of the property that is missing at the station on one of the six WR divisions through one single window,” said Sumit Thakur spokesman.
It will facilitate passengers to find and get their lost luggage.
“Similarly, the Web Portal Meri Saheli is an enhanced feature of the Meri Saheli project from WR.
The main objective is to ensure the availability of RPF officers and thus provide a systematic coverage for the security of all female passengers traveling alone on the train,” he added.
