Ahmedabad: Western train has decided to sell six pairs of remote trains by rationalizing the number of trainers to 22 or less.
It will allow the train to run more trains after the number of coaches has been standardized.
In accordance with the press release, this train rakes will be standardized with the integration of the Rake link to increase flexibility in operation and thus help in increasing timeliness.
This will then lead to increased rake utilization, increase timeliness, minimize rescheduling and save slots in the pit line.
This will benefit the overall income from the train and increase the flexibility of train operations.
