WR took 68Cr as a fine in nine months

Letter: Between April and December 2021, The Western Railway (WR) Collecting RS 68 Crore is as good as around 11.76 lakh cases of ticket travelers or to travel in other classes than tickets they have bought.
This number includes a baggage case that is not clear too.
Again, RS 41.09 Lakh was collected from more than 10,000 cases of masked travelers as a fine in nine months including RS 21.34 lakh collected in the suburban section of Mumbai from WR together with RPF and civilian authority.
During this period, eight ticket transfer cases were made detected and fined for RS.12,085.
A total of 534 unauthorized snacks and 413 beggars were arrested, where 175 was charged and a number of Rs 60,515 recovered from them.
About 359 was required and Rs 1.33 lakh recovered in a fine.
“The service that travelers brought a valid ticket and identity card, used a mask during the trip and followed the Covid-19 protocol too,” said an official WR.
