New Delhi: Star Wrestler India Bajrang Punia on Monday said he could search back the trial in his category close to the world championship if he recovered from his injury and also revealed that he did not just hurt his knees, but also pulled his hamstring before.

Bajrang returned with a bronze medal from Tokyo after leaving the fourth third of the play-off against Daulet Niyazbekov Kazakhstan, taking a mat for his fight without recording his knee.
“15 days after I suffered a knee injury, I had pulled my left hamstring too, but I didn’t want to cause panic, so remained silent and decided to fight with injury,” said Bajrang, who competed in the men’s 65kg freestyle category, revealed the second injury He brought it into the game.

Bajrang recently said that he would not compete in the trial because doctors had advised him rehabilitation six weeks after scanning revealed ligament tears on his right knee.
Bajrang said he wanted to compete in the world championship, began in Oslo, Norway starting on October 2-10.
He already has three world medals, including silver and two bronze.
He recently underwent MRI’s scan to find out the extent of the injury he suffered in Russia in June before the Olympics.
Talking about the injury, Bajrang said the doctors had told him about the risks involved in taking mats but he had no choice but to give it all.
“I have tears that are between class 2 and 3 and all the doctors say taking the mat will be risky and it might arrive at the point where I might need surgery but I have to fight,” he said.
