Chiba (Japan): Ravi Dahiya on Thursday only became the second Indian wrestler to win the silver medal at the Olympics after he lost the 57kg men’s freestyle title, 4-7 to rule World Champion Zavur Uguev.
There is hope that the 23-year-old Dahiya will be the youngest Olympic champion of India but Russians defend well to win comfortably.

After he lost the gold medal match on Thursday 4-7 against Russian wrestlers.
Ravi previously made his way to the 57kg men’s freestyle with two big wins in Thedahiya lost to Uguev at the 2019 World Championship too.
The wrestler from Nahri Village in Haryana has defeated Tigreros Urbano Colombia (13-2) in his opening and then outperformed Georgi Valentinov Vangelov (14-4) in the quarter-finals.
In the semifinals, he removed the large 2-9 deficit to clamping Nurislam Sanayev.
Sushil Kumar, who is now imprisoned on charges of murder, is the only other Indian wrestler that makes the final at the Olympics.
He has won silver in the London 2012 game, where Yogeshwar Dutt also won bronze.
Sushil has won bronze in the 2008 Beijing game.
India now has five Olympic medalist medal wrestlers.
KD Jadhav has won bronze in the Helsinki match 1952.
Sakshi Malik has been the first female wrestler to win the Olympic medal when he grabbed a bronze at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
