Writer sends Note to Manufacturer of Internet Collection, alleges plagiarism

Dumka: Nilotpal Mrinal, Dumka0based Sahitya Akademi award winner for his novel Dark Horse, on Sunday said he’s sent a legal opinion on the manufacturers of TVF’s web show Aspirants accusing these plagiarism. Speaking to TOI, he stated,”At least 30 percent of this material is from my own novel and I have been given no charge for my own works. I’ve sent a legal notice to the manufacturers of the internet collection ” Mrinal, that resides in Nonihaat village of Jarmundi block, shot to fame following his publication was released in 2015. The publication, which will be in Hindi, summarizes the battles confronted by UPSC aspirants residing in rural regions in contrast with their counterparts in metropolitan locations. The internet series also is themed online. He explained,”I’m somewhat late in assessing my promise of my book been plagiarised from the internet series that has completely five episodes although it doesn’t matter especially once I realised exactly the same after having viewed it. I’ve sent a legal notice to Arunabh Kumarproducer of the internet collection ” He also added,”Arunabh, that I’d met earlier in a role, does not just recognise me because the writer of Dark Forest but can also be mindful of my dreams to get a movie in my own book. I will not let such burglars move away without paying for the price tag.” Aside from being a writer, Mrinal can be widely recognized as a poet and also socio-political activist who graduated from St Xavier’s College at Ranchi and was a UPSC aspirant.
