Written approval from parents, do not share books between SOPs for students visiting Delhi School

New Delhi: Written approval of parents, not sharing books and stationery, school sanitization and thermal scanning is among the guidelines issued by the Delhi government on Monday, a day after grade 10 to 12 students are allowed to visit the school.
Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on August 8 allows students for grade 10 to 12 to visit schools from Monday to work related to acceptance and practical activities for the council exam and also said the health checkposts located on the school campus can continue.

“Online class and digital distance learning will continue and students who want to continue their studies through online classes must be done,” SOP said by the Directorate of Education (DOE).

The department has directed that there will be thermal scans of all staff and students before they enter the school and anyone who suffer from colds, coughing, fever or flu, symptoms will not be allowed to attend the school.
“The right sanitalization of the school, including frequent sanitalization of public areas such as small rooms etc., will be ascertained.
The principal must ensure that all teachers and staff are vaccinated in priority,” he said.
Schools in the national capital were closed in March last year before the national lock to contain the spread of the Coronavirus.
The school was partially reopened for grade 9 to 12 January this year but once again closed in April considering the second wave of Covid-19 aggressive.
The government has last month said the auditorium and assembly space in schools and educational institutions can be used for training and meeting purposes with 50 percent of occupancy.
