New Delhi: Minister Haryana Chief Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday did not approve the comment of “cracked his head” Karnal HR during protesting farmers in the state.
However, Khattar said that determination was needed to maintain the law and order.
“The choice of the attendant’s words was wrong.
The administration will look into the material.
He should not say those words, but strictly needed to maintain the law & command,” Khattar said.
Karnal HR Ayush Sinha, IAS 2018-batch officer, was caught on camera who told the police to “destroy the head of farmers” during the protest of farmers in Haryana.
However, the officer Ias said he had not seen a video that was viral and he would check and comment later.
The statement exacerbated the controversy over Lathi Police sticks on farmers last week with the opposition party peaking attacks on the ML Khattar-LED government.
Deputy Minister of Dustyant Chief Chairman Chautala also did not approve Sinha’s statement and promised action against the IAS officer.
Meanwhile, Deputy Deputy Komal Nishant Kumar Yadav expressed regret on Sinha’s comments, by saying that even though the officer’s intention was to stop the protesters for violating the barricade, a few words used by him were not right.
“Being the Head of Karnal District Administration, I expressed regret for those words,” he told reporters in Karnal.
“He is a sincere officer.
In the heat at this time, a few words used that should not be used.
However, what he meant was to tell the police that if protesters solve two barricades, they could reach the meeting venue and enjoy Vandalism,” said Yadav .
