Chennai: The Department of Tamil Nadu School Education will conduct a class X and XII State Council exam in May 2022, the Minister of School Education Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi told reporters here on Tuesday.
He said the department would conduct two revision tests in January and March before the council exam.
The minister attended a meeting with all educational leaders of the head and reviewed the progress of destroying unsafe buildings at school.
“In the first phase, officials identified unsafe buildings at 1,600 schools, and the demolition work was underway.
Officials were also directed to ensure the appearance of Helpline number 14417 in all classrooms and schools to create awareness among students.
Next, All schools must have a complaint box to receive complaints of sexual harassment, “Poyyamozhi told reporters.
Then, the Directorate of Government inspection released a schedule for two revision tests.
The first revision test will be carried out from 19 to 28 while the second revision test will be carried out from 21 to 29 March.
The council test tends to start from the first week of May 2022.
